Konami's 2nd Mix of Keyboard Mania features a two-octave genuine Yamaha keyboard - players must hit the keys that correspond with the notes of the song they are playing to earn points. There are three levels of difficulty in the game - Light (for the beginner), Light + (for the intermediate) and Real (for the advanced player.)
Keyboard Mania boasts a full size Yamaha keyboard of 48 keys, where players are required to press the keys that correspond to the notes of the melody of a set song.The sequence of the notes is indicated on the monitor, and players read the sequence and press the set notes in order to play the song and earn points in the game.
The machine is divided up with two 19" monitors - one for each player. The keyboard is also divided, with each player using 24 keys to play.
