Winning Eleven Arcade Championship 2008 is the latest arcade release in the popular Winning Eleven Soccer game series (known as Pro Evolution Soccer outside of Japan). The 2008 version is the first arcade release to include long-awaited European club teams, with 126 clubs and a total of 180 teams available.
Up to 4 machines can be networked together, with a large monitor showcasing game highlights and replays. Winning Eleven Arcade Championship 2008 retains the same control system as the 2006 version with six buttons used to control your player - shoot, pass, lob, through ball, sliding tackle, and conservative tackle. The e-amusement system is also supported, which allows for online competition.
