ATRAX Expo 2019, the internation summit of the Attraction- Parks- Recreation Industry in Turkey was very successful this year, with many visitors coming to socialise, network and learn. This years exhibition introduced the latest innovations and services in this sector of the world to many municipalities as well as shopping malls, hotels, housing project companies, corporations, organisers and investors. The theme of ATRAX Expo 2019 was " Happy Cities". The aim was to bring to the forefront attraction and recreation projects that create more opportunities for socialising and activities focused on the happiness of its residents.
ATRAX continues to enlighten the sector via its Conference Series
This years ATRAX Expo 2019 hosted a series of conferences that brought together the leaders of the sector, academics, local government officials, society presidents, organisation directors and institutions and universities. These conferences were titled "Importance and Necessity of Building Happy Cities" and "The Impact of Entertainment and Recreation on the Happiness of City People" and were engaging for all.
University Special Section
ATRAX Expo 2019 offered a competition for universities, where the best ideas related to the "Happy Cities Project" were rewarded. These ideas where also shared with the sector's representatives via the dedicated conference. The project was organised by Tureks Uluslararasi Fuarcilik in cooperation with REKCAD (Recreation Studies and Research Association) with the goal of building the quality of life of the future and creating value social-cultural-touristic-economic and educational sense.
The project is believed to be an important contribution to both the sector and ATRAX Expo, and will be implemented in the larger scope in the coming year.
ATRAX Gala Night and Shining Star Awards Ceremony was vibrant again this year
The winners of the "Shining Star Attraction, Events and Recreation Awards 2019" were announced at the ATRAX Gala night. The "Shining Star Awards" were organised with the goal of encouraging new projects and creating awareness in the sector by rewarding successful projects. The competition featured 20 awards, with winners being selected objectively through a jury of 19 experts of professionals in the sector, academics and society presidents.
