From Monday 22nd February, Australian manufacturing company, Arcooda, will have their Xtreme Game Wizard arcade machine free to play at the Bar on the Hill, a popular watering hole at the University of Newcastle (NSW).
Players will be able to go to the Bar on the Hill and try out the highly anticipated Street Fighter V game on classic arcade controls (the only place in Australia you will be able to do this!), at no charge!
This is an exciting step for the company, and will be acting as a location test for the machine to gauge the public's response to Xtreme and garner feedback on this one-of-a-kind system.
What makes the Xtreme machine special is the fact that it is the most advanced arcade machine in the marketplace, and is Australia’s first patented multi-platform arcade system! This unique and exciting machine is compatible with Xbox 360, Xbox One, PlayStation 3, PlayStation 4, PC, JAMMA Boards and late model arcade game boards. This is all plug and play, allowing players to switch between the gaming systems with ease and changing a game can be as simple as changing a disc!
The Xtreme will be on location at Bar on the Hill from February 22nd and will remain there for an undetermined amount of time as of yet.
The NUAC (Newcastle University Anime Club) Council helped to spread the word about Arcooda during the universities O-Week (orientation week) over the past few days, drawing an incredible amount of attention from students.
