Artcade by Tim Nicholls is a Bitmap Books publication die for release in March 2016 and is focused on presenting high quality marquee scans of some of the most iconic games that shaped the golden age of arcade! The book is now available for pre-order. Price is £24.99 (€34.26).
Artcade includes 340 pages of high-quality marquee scans, presented in landscape format covering both pages and is faithfully recreated using beautiful lithographic printing on the highest quality paper. It also includes interviews with artists, such as Larry Day and the late Python Anghelo as part of the feature.

The author/designer of the book, Nicholls, acquired the massive archive of marquees from a Hollywood props company and many had suffered extensive damage. Nicholls reportedly spent over one thousand house assembling the marquees, scanning them in high resolution, and restoring the images in Photoshop to recreate the vibrancy that made arcade what it was.
