Beijing Lottery Wins Exclusive Sales Contract with Macao Gaming Show
China's leading lottery specialist, The Lottery Research Center of China at Beijing University, wins an exclusive sales contract as the primary sales agency for the Lottery Zone at Macao Gaming Show 2015 (Venetian Macao, 17-19 November 2015).

The agreement covers stand sales, advertising and summit delegate places from lottery businesses in Europe, USA, Central & South America, the Middle East and Africa, all of which are key targets for the growing Chinese market.

The Lottery Research Center of China at Beijing Normal University is well placed to drive the Lottery Zone at this year's MGS. The organisation actively connects with the various stakeholders in China’s lottery industry, government authorities, all types of associations, lottery companies and lottery consumers. For MGS - with its backing of the top 100 gaming businesses in the Asia region - the burgeoning Chinese lottery market serves as a key sector for the development of the exhibition and its future growth.

Marina Wong, Event Director and General Manager at MGS, said: “The Lottery Research Center of China at Beijing Normal University enjoys an excellent reputation across the gaming industry and throughout the lottery sector. The growth of the lottery market is a key focus at the exhibition this year and it's a major asset to have such an authoritative academic institution working with MGS to help service the lottery sector.”

Dr Li Kun, Executive Deputy Director at The Lottery Research Center of China, at Beijing Normal University, said: “I am honoured and delighted that our research center has been selected by MGS to fulfil this important commercial role. Our sales team is working closely with its counterparts in Macau with a shared objective of making Macao Gaming Show the most prestigious and respected business gaming show in Asia.”

The Chinese lottery sector is growing at an exponential rate and a recent study by Ken Research identified booming lottery sales as a driver for progress in both Hong Kong and Macau, meriting its status as a point of focus at this year’s conference.

China’s lottery sales rose 25.2 percent year-on-year to 32.25 billion yuan last September, and in 2014, total lottery sales topped 309 billion yuan, up 18.3 percent year on year, according to data from the Ministry of Finance.
