Following yesterdays launch of Pokken Tournament in Japan arcades, we have news of another pokemon fighter being added to the roster - Blaziken!
Blaziken, also known as Bursyamo in Japan, is a dual-type Fire/Fighting Pokémon, which has a Mega Evolution known as Mega Blaziken and this Mega Evolution is spotted in the new character movie released yesterday (towards the end). The video also gives us glimpse of a city stage where a Pokemon Hospital can be seen in the background, and includes a cameo by Nurse Joy, who is standing on the front steps.
Blaziken will be the first character to be added after the game's release, which Bandai Namco Entertainment has confirmed will be added to roster as of next month (August). Blaziken was revealed in yesterdays Niconico livestream and in the pages of Famitsu earlier this week.
Pokkén Tournament's current roster consists of Charizard, Gardevoir, Gengar, Lucario, Machamp, Pikachu, Suicune and Weavile. The fighting game is currently only confirmed for an arcade release in Japan.
