Capital Gaming Design Case - Success!
The case brought by Capital Gaming Ltd against former Coinmaster owner Tony Lynch and others concluded yesterday in Cardiff District Registry.
Action was prompted by the manufacture of 2 roulette wheels to Capital's design but not ordered by or intended for use or supply to Capital Gaming Ltd.
Capital had initially brought proceedings having been advised by the manufacturer that Mr Tony Lynch, the former owner of Coinmaster Gaming, had ordered the wheels.
During the course of the action the manufacturer filed further evidence indicating that the wheels had in fact been ordered not by Mr Lynch himself but by T&R operations a company of which Mr Lynch is a director and 50% owner. T&R Operations subsequently gave undertakings that were accepted by Capital Gaming Ltd.
Following the determination of costs at Mondays hearing, the Directors of Capital Gaming are satisfied with the outcome and have demonstrated that they will vigorously protect their intellectual property whenever necessary.
