New General Manager of fun.net Germany Mr. Jindrich Havranek
"The task has always appealed to me", so the general manager of fun.net Germany, Jindrich Havranek, about his basic vocational stance. It is a statement, which he still sticks by after a two-day ‘information-marathon' at funworld's headquarters in Schörfling, Upper Austria.
Havranek officially started out on his new challenge on 20th April 2006.
Havranek, who studied business administration with emphasis on market research, brings no branch-specific background into his new job. He does however have many years of experience in leading positions of major companies and international enterprises (international engineering, furniture-, consumer goods- and packaging industries), which have formed his entrepreneurial- and leadership responsibility. Intense contact with clients has quickened the service-thought in him.
His positions have led the 46-year-old through the whole of Germany. After Krefeld, Stuttgart, Heidelberg and Halle, Wiesbaden is now to become his new home where he is already intensely searching for an apartment.
The "entrepreneurial sole responsibility for a product and a territory" and also the possibility of being able to accompany this with commercial instruments were what attracted the enthusiastic
cyclist most about the job of managing fun.net Germany. During the intense training in Austria as a start, Havranek not only came across as reliable and strongly motivated but also impressed with his sense of humour. An extremely promising mixture.
