Funworld Hosts German Operators' Forum
Funworld Ag last week hosted a Market of the Future forum for German operators and industry experts, who were able to enjoy sound analysis, interesting questions and relaxing hours at the company's headquarters in Schörfling.

Last Wednesday evening the members of the German Operators' Forum arrived at Lake Attersee via Graz and were immediately whisked away to enjoy original Austrian dishes and cider at a traditional tavern. The group, was met by CEO, Joseph Öhlinger, and Sales and Marketing Executive, Marco Huter, and welcomed with an assortment of Schnapps amongst torch fire and pumpkins within the former farmyard.

On Thursday morning the group was welcomed on the rooftop of the Funworld headquarters in Schörfling and was then led around the building where the company's creative working climate was displayed. Extraordinary features include the fitness and sauna area, internal tournaments, birthday flowers as well as Feng Shui elements in the building's architecture and the individual offices.

Sales Manager, Norbert Langer, and Christopher Röricht, Product Manager in Germany, not only presented Photo Play fundamentals and networking basics, but also the coming year's top event, the World Games, which will take place from March 25-28, 2004 in Alpbach, Tyrol, and will dominate work during the coming months.

After lunch, Josef Öhlinger guided his guests through the historical development of the Photo Play brand, which will continue to be a concrete part of the company's philosophy in the future.

Sales and Marketing Executive, Marco Huter provided a new and interesting idea during the stimulating seminar Market of the Future. Based on the example of Netzwerkkinder - Network Kids, the brand new study book by the Hamburg Trendbureau, Mr Huter explained the connection between the future player generation and Photo Play's networking drive. "Youths wish to express themselves individually and yet remain part of a large community. Today shopping malls replace the marketplaces and church parks of the past. The presence of electronics is essential, especially since realistic presence cannot always take place in modern times. For the coming generation born after 1980, "to be" is to be linked."

Although the public was sceptic at first, it was soon impressed and convinced after a brief comparison with its own kids or with the kids of friends. As surprise gift, all of the guests were presented with a copy of the book Die neue Moral der Netzwerkkinder - The Network Kids new Moral.
