IMA 2009 to host over 200 exhibitors
IMA, the International Trade Fair for Amusement and Vending Machines, continues to grow. Boosted by an increase in visitor numbers of eight percent in 2008, the 2009 show will open with more than 200 exhibitors and will showcase a wide range of amusement machines, sports gaming machines and cash management systems.

Since the new Gambling Ordinance passed two years ago, there has been a focus on new commercially operated amusement machines with cash winnings. These machines, together with traditional cylinder-based machines, screen-based machines and multigamblers will make up a large proportion of the machine exhibited.

Bowling will also take up considerable space at IMA 2009, with Bowling World 2009 staged for the first time parallel to the trade fair. During the four days of the fair manufacturers and service providers from the bowling and related sectors will present their products and concepts.

"Bowling continues to be a trend – especially in combination with amusement machines," explains IMA Director Petra Lassahn. "A large number of creative design solutions offering a good combination of the two are available to exhibitors today. Moreover, this sector is of great interest to the classic IMA visitors looking for new areas of business".

IMA 2009 will run from 13th to 16th January at the Düsseldorf Exhibition Centre, Düsseldorf, Germany. For more information about the trade show Click Here
