LAI Games settles out of court with distibutor of copied Stacker's
LAI Games has settled out of court with a distributor of copied Stacker Machines manufactured in China. The machines were found to have contained unauthorised use of LAI Games copyrighted material including specific audio, visual and software components of LAI's popular Stacker game.

68 known copies of Stacker were imported into Australia, marketed and offered for sale by the distributor. In an out of court settlement all offending units will be removed from locations, turned over to LAI and destroyed.

Alan Freimuth, CEO of LAI GAMES stated "The act of selling and marketing copied games is a offence, we take this matter very seriously and will vigorously fight to protect our Copyright and Intellectual Property Rights and bring action against those companies that manufacture, import, distribute, sell or operate games that are copies of Stacker."
