Raw Thrills, the team behind recent hit arcade release The Walking Dead, are the big winners out of the 2017 Best Of Show Arcade (BOSA) Awards.
The United States-based arcade manufacturer took out gold in the video arcade games category of the awards, with The Walking Dead Arcade.
It also claimed bronze in the same category with Nintendo collaboration Cruis’n Blast.
In videmption arcade games, Raw Thrills and Taito’s Space Invaders Frenzy won silver.
LAI Games, another US-based manufacturer, was another big winner.
The company’s two 2016 releases, Let’s Bounce and HyperShoot Basketball, claimed silver and bronze respectively in Redemption Arcade Games.
Andamiro’s Baseball Pro Arcade nabbed gold for the redemption category.
The BOSA awards, presented by BMIGaming.com, The Stinger Report and Arcade Heroes, was established six years ago with the aim to highlight and reward the best in new arcade games and amusement technology.
The awards cover machines and technology shows at the annual IAAPA Attractions Expo in Orlando, Florida.
“The sixth annual best of show arcade machine awards… was the most competitive in its history, with the highest number of contenders to date,” BMI Gaming stated when announcing the award winners.
“BOSA nominees included a vast array of both established and new amusement and entertainment device manufacturers from around the globe.”
