Sega USA Adds Two Industry Vets
Sega USA has hired two industry veterans, Ron Malinowski and Drew Maniscalco, to manage the special projects division.

Sega's Special Projects Division will focus of new opportunities for the company to broaden its penetration in the marketplace. "New product lines, equipment configurations, and new ways of promoting and participating in our unique entertainment experiences are just some the area's Ron and Drew will focus on," continued Joyiens. "This division in general, and Ron and Drew in particular allow us the opportunity to present the Sega brand to a much wider location base."

Ron Malinowski has over 25 years of industry experience, most recently as National Sales Manager for Capcom USA. Ron started out in the mid 70's with Bally Manufacturing Corporation. He quickly advanced through the ranks to senior management positions with Bally's Aladdin's Castle. "Ron brings a wealth of experience from many facets of the coin-op industry," says Sega's VP of sales and marketing, Barbara Joyiens. "We are extremely pleased to have such a winner on our team."

Drew Maniscalco has been in the industry for over 15 years. His most recent position was with ICE as Western Regional Sales Manager. He's been involved with just about every type of coin-op product from video to pinball to redemption. "I've wanted Drew on our team for a very long time," said Sega's president and COO Alan Stone. "I had the pleasure of working with him during our days together at Nintendo. His addition strengthens our sales organization immeasurably."
