The third phase of 2015 China Theme Park Construction Senior Seminar was successfully held during December 20th to 21st in Changzhou, which is co-organized by TPAE (Theme Parks & Attractions Exhibition) Organizing Committee, which discussed theme park development in China.
Hot spot issues were high-lighted during the discussion, issues such as: foreign and well-known amusement park management philosophy; well-known theme park operation and management mode; "Wisdom tourism"; the construction of water parks; quality management of theme parks; space construction problem of recreation; resort design; and more.
Approximately 260 professionals attended this year's seminar, including Liu Zheng, CEO of Guangdong Silent Greatness Investment Management; Sun Zhanqi, general manager of Beijing Sunshine Technology; Tian Gaoqi, CEO of Guangzhou Daxin Water Amusement Park Construction; and Ma Dingyuan, CEO of Zhejiang Juma Amusement Equipment Engineering etc.
“Amusement park industries in the world have increasing preference towards eastern countries and China, in particular, will enjoy a prosperous future”, said Liu Jingwang, president of China Association of Amusement Parks and Attractions.
The theme park market in China is developing rapidly and so many trade shows, exhibitions and seminars are now focusing on how to make the most of this development for sustainability. In the past 5 years, the revenue of China's playground market, including theme parks and water parks, has increased by approximately 11% annually
and revenue is expected to reach $3.3 billion dollars in 2015 and $4.8 billion dollars in 2016.
In order to combine domestic and international visitors and developers, TPAE 2016 will continue its effort to
build the most professional platform to service this industry and those looking to be part of it.
