UNIS has revealed what they will be showing at the 2016 IAAPA trade show this year, and the line up looks set to impress!
UNIS has been attending IAAPA for many years now and over that time the company has been able to grow their customer base exponentially, and has improved their product range in this time as well, becoming one of the go-to companies for redemption arcade games and kiddie rides.
IAAPA is one of the largest trade shows for the arcade and amusement industry and has become famous for being the international launching pad for new games for many companies. This remains true for Chinese based Universal Space (UNIS), who plan on bring several new games, including an impressive new virtual reality product.
Building upon last years debut of a multiplayer motion theater and their interactive train ride, this year UNIS is presenting their first virtual reality product, titled OMNI Arena.
Virtual Reality is becoming a bit of a trend in amusement as companies race to provide a commercially profit-breaking product, and UNIS is among the first to offer a complete VR arcade solution with the OMNI Arena.
The arena uses the OMNI multi-directional treadmills so that the player can move in place and is combined with HTC Vive VR headsets, set up in the players own personal kiosk. The OMNI Arena is available in a 2 player or 5 player size capacity. You can find more information here
They will also be showing a range of arcade machines, including Ultra Race and a video redemption game set up as a cross between skeeball and a video game called Lane Master. In Lane Master, players roll the ball down the lane and knock down the virtual bowling pins on the screen. UNIS will also be showing Outback Hunter which is a video hunting shooting gallery style game.
There are more titles yet to be announced, but these will likely be revealed right before the show or at the show.
