Acme Crane Company from Benchmark Games is a crane game that has the capacity to hold a large amount of prizes and has a (patent pending) 'Always Full' feature that self-adjusts the playfield level to maximise product presentation.
This adjustment is invisible to the player. The crane can pick up merchandise and move it around, in attract mode, and is programmable to ensure merchandise is always 'fluffed.' Acme Crane Company also boasts a patent pending four-axis player controlled claw with directions including up/down, left/right, backward/forward and claw rotation. This patent pending Unique Air-Powered Claw uses a pneumatic cylinder for smooth and controlled operation, with a five year warranty on the claw mechanism. The complete machine has a two year warranty.
The Crane features stepper motor operation with lubricated-for-life ball bearings and no end-of-stroke switches required. It has an opto-prize counter with anti-cheat software so that an alarm will sound if any merchandise is dropped through the chute without the claw opening. Acme Crane Company arrives with the marquee top removed, so it fits through doorways, and with the joystick front panel assembly removed for space considerations and protection from shipping damage. A simple assembly replaces the top and front panel, giving the game its prominent and eye-catching appearance (except for the 24" ACME Crane X-treme model, which arrives with marquee and front panel assembled).
