Real Football is a full size football/soccer simulator. The player kicks an actual soccer ball at a simulated goalie and goal on a giant screen.
The machine determines the success or failure of kick, and displays goal or miss. The player is the kicker in a one-on-one scenario against the goalkeeper. The object is to score as many goals as possible in the time allowed. The player shoots from three different positions within the penalty area (centre, left angle or right angle). Both accuracy and velocity play a factor in the success/failure of each shot.
As the player gains success/failure through the game, the goalkeeper reacts just as a real goalkeeper would displaying emotion through video animation. The goal even has unique save movements. Each save movement is unique based on the location and type of shot. The size of the giant screen, accurately portrays a real life perspective.
During the player/user session, the system's scoreboard displays the following data: Number of shots taken, the velocity of each shot, the average velocity of all shots, the number of goals scored, the scoring percentage, and the time left in the session. After the session a report summary is displayed that includes similar statistics.
Real Football can also be upgraded with other titles in the company's Real Sports line-up, including basketball, golf, hockey and baseball.
