A continuation of the highly-popular and realistic soccer game series. Many improvements have been made for this version including the number of countries the player can represent increasing from 32 to 63, and the number of playable stadiums increasing from 7 to 13.
Graphical improvements are evident when watching the newly added replays for 'close shot', as well as 'goal replays'. More skill is required for the 2002 version as stamina elements have been added, that can greatly effect the teams performance. Also to add to the strategic element each player on each team will have their ability determined through 18 items at 10 levels.
