Arcade Planet, Inc., has signed an agreement with McDonald's Corporation to provide software and hardware technology to operate McMaginationä, a children's video game computer system available at participating McDonald's restaurants in the U.S.

"We have tested the kiosks thoroughly for over a year and believe we have created a system that is easy to use and will stand up to even the most exuberant players."
In development for over a year, the kiosks use specially designed patented software from Arcade Planet that features trouble-free, self-monitoring operation. With Arcade Planet software, the gaming kiosk will automatically reboot itself if one of the games or the PC-based system locks-up. The kiosks are user friendly for McDonald's crew. Arcade Planet will deliver a DVD with the game updates to participating locations eight times per year. Restaurant employees simply put the DVD in the computer and push the "GO" button for a complete update of the gaming kiosk.
In
last month's story McDonald's found they help draw business from parents and children at off-peak times during the day. The systems will be paid for by individual McDonald's owner/operators who choose to install them.
