Former Cirque du Soleil COO Charles Decarie Moves To Triotech

Former Cirque du Soleil COO Charles Décarie moves into a new role to oversee attractions specialist Triotech’s operations in Montreal, Canada, and the rest of the world.

In his new role as COO, Décarie will be Triotech founder Ernest Yale’s “right hand man”.

“He will help define the company’s direction and lead its various teams,” said Yale. “Recognised for their dynamism and innovative spirit, our teams have established a prominent place worldwide for their ambitious design projects in the field of immersive and interactive attractions for theme parks and tourism sites.”

As Chief Operating Officer (COO) at Cirque du Soleil, Décarie was responsible for Cirque du Soleil's overall P&L and show business lines including touring shows, resident shows and merchandising activities. The experience he will bring Triotech, which has experienced substantial growth in recent years, will be a boon to the company.

Triotech is a market leader in out-of-home, multi-sensory interactive attractions, and has created some of the most technologically advanced immersive and interactive media-based simulators for both the entertainment and edutainment markets. Triotech is a privately held company based in Canada with offices in the USA, Europe, and China.
