AMI Entertainment is pleased to announce its Megatouch 2011 domestic software release for Ion and Force platforms. The latest update for the industry's top-selling countertops includes 9 new titles for all Ions, 2 widescreen-exclusive games, a suite of Penthouse games with all-new photos, fresh content for favorites like Photo Hunt and Trivia Whiz 2, and plenty more.

"We're excited about this year's release," said A.J. Russo, AMI's Creative Director. "We're bringing some things out this time that are different from anything we've done before, yet still holding true to classic games that our players love. Each new software update is a chance to show our operators just how much we want them to get the best value for their money, and I think 2011 accomplishes that."

For this update, AMI leveraged its partnerships to bring Little Shop Road Trip, the sequel to 2010 runaway hit Little Shop of Treasures, and a completely revitalized Penthouse suite of games, featuring the latest photos of the hottest models, to the market.

"Little Shop of Treasures amassed a huge group of loyal players," added Russo. "We expect similar things from Little Shop Road Trip."

AMI has packed 2011 with an array of games that range from the ancient Japanese backdrop of Word Dojo 2 to the futuristic fields of Space Farmer. Flick & Kick Football pits players against an unpredictable goalpost, while Trix and Final Table Hold ‘Em put their card skills to the test. A reinvigorated Mystery Phraze has players pondering word puzzles, while Boxxi Blitz challenges them at breakneck speed.

In addition to an all-new photo library featuring the latest Penthouse models, 2011 marks the debut of the first tournament-ready Megatouch erotic games. Penthouse Panty Bandits and Penthouse Super Boxxi are strategy-based games that showcase models in a state of progressive undress, giving players a little more to look at with each new level. The 2011 Ion platform allows the Penthouse suite to be viewed in 3 different ways, with non-nude, R-rated, or X-rated photos.

"Our relationship with Penthouse has been a long and fruitful one," said Russo. "By choosing all-new images from the latest, hottest photo shoots, we are able to bring our customers the best content available."

Megatouch 2011 also marks the final software update for all Force systems, but it's not going to go out quietly. The last Force package features 2010's runaway hit Little Shop of Treasures, its cousin Little Shop Road Trip, Boxxi Blitz, and the all-new Penthouse photo library, including the hot titles Penthouse Panty Bandits and Penthouse Super Boxxi. This software is only available for a limited time and could increase a Force's game library by up to 52 games, depending on when the operator last updated.

"With Megatouch 2011, AMI is once again delivering fun for our players, and revenue for our operators," said Mike Maas, CEO of AMI Entertainment. "The great new titles and upgrades to proven favorites showcase the creative power behind our software. With the ever-changing nature of the coin-op industry, that creativity is key to making Megatouch the best it can be for both our operators, and our players. We're confident that this is our best release to date."
