Money & Maggi Bring Italian Connection to ProGame 2005
Money Controls is set to join its Italian partner, Maggi Coniature, at ProGame from 22-24 September 2005, to demonstrate new and established components for secure money systems, designed to meet local requirements. Maggi Coniature has operated as Money Controls exclusive distributor and service centre in Italy for 30 years and recently signed another five-year contract to maintain their powerful alliance. Money Controls sales team for Western Europe, headed by Export Sales Manager Stephan Rosseneu, will continue to work closely with Maggi Coniature and its MD, Bianca Biagioni. Together they will greet customers at ProGame and guide them through Money Controls complete Pay to Play product range, with the spotlight on the new Combi Hopper. Developed to satisfy emerging requirements of the Italian market for a product capable of a fast pay-out of multiple coins from only two hoppers, the Combi Hopper (illustrated) is the latest addition to the tried and tested Compact Hopper range, renowned for high security, speed and reliability. The system quickly pays out jackpots by storing 2, 1 and 50ct in a small 2 hopper footprint and, upon instruction from the host machine, pays out the first available coin from the mixed hopper making up any remainder from the second hopper. Since the hopper does not hunt for a specific coin to be paid out, payout speeds can reach up to 6-8 coins per second in stream mode.

The Combi Hopper works in harmony with ccTalk, Money Controls ACMI-approved open serial communication protocol, now accepted as standard on the Italian Pay to Play market. Designed to provide the secure transfer of credit and status information for a range of secure money system applications, ccTalk maintains the integrity of management, support and security information for both standalone and network-managed applications now being installed in the Italian market. Other products to be highlighted at ProGame, and which have a strong presence on the Italian Pay to Play market include:

  • The SR5 high security coin mechanism - the leading 5ins product of its kind for networking to ccTalk. The SR5 offers high security, excellent true coin acceptance and a variety of options, including 4-way sorting and a selection of frontplates.

  • The MK2 Serial Compact Hopper payout, popular due to its high speed and high security and the availability of a square bowl and base for larger capacity payout.

  • The high-capacity, single denomination Universal Hopper coin payout which handles 95% of the worlds coin sets and is also a member of the strong ccTalk family.
"These are exciting times in Italy," said Stephan Rosseneu. "A fast developing market and new legislation has increased demand for our products and ProGame offers more opportunities for sales of new and established products. We look forward to demonstrating our ability to anticipate local needs and ensure that we can offer the required solutions for OEMs manufacturing products for Italy."
