NAMOA/NVA Trade expo postponed
The Australian NAMOA/NVA Trade Expo, originally scheduled to take place in Melbourne, has been temporarily postponed. The postponement is due to concerns surrounding the venue and its suitability to hold the event.
Discussions are now taking place to move the event to another venue, with the joint venture Trade Expo committee looking at the Melbourne Convention and Exhibition Centre (MCEC) as a possible venue. This would mark the first time that the Amusement & Vending Trade Expo has been held in Melbourne.
The move to the MCEC will result in a rise in stand prices, with organisers gauging exhibitor interest in the venue before any commitment is made. Presently the proposed timing is October 16-17, with stand pricing for a 3x3 space at $1950, and a 3x2 space at $1750. Organisers have asked potential exhibitors to nominate how many stands they would take up if the move to the MCEC was made. As the proposal is tentative there is no floor plan available at this stage.
