EA Sports PGA Tour Golf products and services discontinued by Global VR
Global VR has announced that they will be discontinuing all EA Sports PGA Tour Golf products at the end of this month. The company attributed the move to the 'decline in the video golf market' and has also announced that they will be discontinuing support for tournaments and all online services.
"To help operators continue earning on their EA Sports PGA Tour Golf cabinets, we recommend they upgrade to EA Sports PGA Tour Golf: Team Challenge with the Access Pass or the All Access Pass for Team Challenge," stated Global VR. "The All Access Pass will unlock all the courses, which were previously only available for online cabinets. This will give the players continued play on all courses."
Operator Run Tournaments using the factory server, Monday Tournaments, Two Week Tournaments, Challenge Match features, the World Tour and Plus Points will no longer be available. Players will have until mid May to redeem their accumulated points.
