More information concerning the latest Tekken 7 character updates has been confirmed for Jin Kazama, Josie Rizal and Devil Jin.
Through Katsuhiro Harada's twitter and news sources there is quite a bit of new information that has been confirmed about characters that were recently unveiled, including announcement trailers for all three characters!
Jin has been confirmed by Katsuhiro Harada to be a CPU sub boss, although he is supposed to become playable soon. He will appear as a sub boss in Stage 4 of the game, althought he conditions for meeting him are difficult and somewhat obscure. There is a screenshot doing the rounds of Kazuya and Jin facing off, so it is possible only some characters can see him. Players might have to play the game through a few times to meet the right conditions for Jin to appear. Jin will join the roster on March 31st in a game update.
Josie is the never-before-seen female fighter that was recently unveiled. She is from the Philippines and is named after their national hero Jose Rizal. Her fighting style is a mixture of kickboxing and eskrima. Katsuhiro Harada has revealed that the character's background is quite sad and this is why she cries when she wins a fight. He tweeted, "She is crybaby, but strong." Josie was designed Mari Shimazaki from Bayonetta.
Devil Jin will be joining the game in an update on April 7th.
