About the Game
Tekken 3 is the third incarnation of Namco's extremely popular 3D fighting series. A number of years have passed since the last tournament and much has changed. A new generation of fighters compete against the veterans of the iron fist tournaments.
Tekken 3 maintains the same basic fighting system as its predecessors, but also features a few improvements. Players can now sidestep, which allows fighters to step into or out of the background - adding further depth to the game. 15 new characters have been added, as well as the inclusion of 6 characters that have previously appeared in Tekken games.
Returning characters include Paul Phoenix, Nina Williams, Anna Williams, Heihachi Mishima, Yoshimitsu and Lei Wulong. New characters include Jin Kazama, Ling Xiaoyu, Hwoarang, Eddy Gordo, Forrest Law, King II, Kuma Jr., Bryan Fury, Gun Jack, Ogre, True Ogre, Julia Chang, Panda, Mokujin and Tiger Jackson.
