Taking place in Chicago from October 1 to 5, the American Amusement Machine Association (AAMA) announced their total charitable donation at their annual meeting and gala. Over $141,000 was raised over a 1 month campaign to honor Bay Tek CEO Larry Treankler as well as over $16,000 at the event for AAMA's charitable mission.

65" Tomb Raider Cabinet Announced

Adrenaline Amusements, the creators of the Tomb Raider arcade machine have announced a 65" standard version of their original cabinet. First hitting the market at the start of the year, the Tomb Raider Deluxe cabinet measures 120" wide. Measuring nearly half the size, the standard version still maintains 4 player game play and motion sensing force feedback guns.

American company Spaces, known for their Terminator Salvation: Fight for the Future themed VR attraction have partnered with Sega to open a new VR attraction in Tokyo, Japan. Opening at Sega's Joyopolis in Shibuya, Terminator Salvation will be available to play for an array of game enthusiasts with the location being one of Japan's most popular and famous videogame attractions.

Approximately $12,000 Raised For Local Charities at Pinfest Newcastle

Taking place over September 22 and 23, all proceeds raised from Pinfest Newcastle are to be contributed to local charities. This year 900 people bought tickets to the 2 day event, generating approximately $12,000. These funds are to be divided between The Westpac Rescue Helicopter, Hunter and Northern Kidney Association and Wesley Mission Newcastle.

Taking place at the Luxor, Las Vegas, $20,000 will be given away for first prize in the main round and $5000 in the Ladies Tournament.
