Linz Uni Students Enjoy Photo Play Championship
Funworld held a mini Photo Play championship last week when it visited the University of Linz on April 27, and afterwards Funworld CEO Josef Öhlinger - pictured - spoke to business students and professors about his experiences as an entrepreneur.

University of Linz students were able to participate in a Photo Play Trivial Pursuit championship last Tuesday on campus, courtesy of the two Photo Play terminals Funworld set up for the day. Prizes were awarded to the top three players at the completion of the mini championship.

Following the competition, Mr Öhlinger gave students and professors an insight into his career with a lecture entitled "Success By Fun-Factor." His speech included details and anecdotes of his experiences since the founding of Funworld in 1979, and informed students of important characteristics a successful entrepreneur needs such as ideas, far-sight, organisational talent, courage and the readiness to bear risks.

In closing, Mr Öhlinger explained the difference between an entrepreneur and a manager. "When I founded the company at the age of 25, I was sure I would retire at the age of 45," Mr Öhlinger said. "That is probably what I would have done after a well remunerated management career, however the fact that I have run this company from its bare beginnings makes it impossible for me to say farewell."
