Money Controls Slots into Spanish Vending Market
The Spanish vending market has welcomed the introduction of two new products from Money Controls and parent company Coinco, which together form an unbeatable combination for bill and coin acceptance.
Money Controls, manufacturer of components for secure money components, and Coinco, world-leading designer and manufacturer of coin and bill acceptors, have both received excellent feedback following the release of Money Control's MC7200 bill acceptor - pictured, and Coinco's Global Changer coin acceptor.
Both products, formally launched at the Madrid Vending Exhibition, have been widely accepted by multinational OEMs and operators seeking high quality, reputable brands with a local technical support service.
The MC7200, developed in conjunction with Coinco, is fast creating a substantial customer base within the Spanish market for use in high value vending machines, with reliability a key factor in its popularity.
Designed specifically for vending and special OEM applications for notes 62-72mm in width, which includes the 5, 10 and 20 euros, the robust yet sophisticated MC7200 is a low-cost, high performance bill acceptor and stacker with a very high first-time acceptance of street-grade bills. Offering fast, trouble-free note-handling for multiple applications, the MC7200 uses world-leading software and advanced mathematics to determine bill authenticity and denomination, resulting in extremely high security.
It also incorporates an internationally proven optical anti-stringing and anti-fishing design, and resistance to saltwater tampering to protect against fraudulent activity. Accepted bills are routed and stacked within the removable cash box, which allows easy bill removal.
Since bill acceptance in vending machines is relatively new to Spain, customers have been especially impressed with the option of controlling the MC7200 through the Global Changer coin acceptor, providing them with maximum flexibility and the collective features and benefits of both products.
The Global Changer allows electronic acceptance of up to 16 different coins and is adaptable to accept new coins and vending advancements as and when they are introduced. Coin tubes are changeable and coin levels are individually programmable, enabling cost-effective configuration for operators with special requirements, whilst "self-diagnostics" identify service needs. The Global Changer is another robust product which is easy to maintain and operate and can be used in older machines thanks to a four tube logic interface.
